The public health care services are chain of hospitals and health care center run by government.They are linked together so that they cover both rural and urban areas.Tgry provide treatment to a variety of disease from common cold to speacial treatment requiring diseases.
Such centers covers many villages.Not just rural areas in India large cities too have many government aided hospitals that provide free treatment to the patients especially the Poor's.The reason why such hospitals are called public is because they are there to serve the public, also the government runs the hospitals with taxpayer's money so the name public is used here.These hospitals also act actively in providing free of cost immunization and doing campaigns for prevention of some major disease such as cholera ,dengue ,chickengunea etc.According to our constitution also it is primary duty of government to provide us basic health care facilities so to fulfill such aspirations these facilities were set up by the government.
