Why zn has exceptionally low density

Solution:
We know density is mass per unit volume.
Due to a completely filled d-subshell in Zn. the nuclear force of attraction on the valence electron is weak. As a result, Zn has a comparatively large atomic radius. Thus its atomic volume also increases.
This is why the density of Zn is exceptionally low.
