 without sharing of power , a country can't become democratic.power is generally not shared in those countries which r rule by dictator..everypeople will fell unsecure and unaware of there fundamental rights in absence of democracy..

*If power is not shared then it is a not a democracy[complete]

*The decision maker wud be independent of all.

*People will loose belief .

1. The first major reasons favoring power sharing is that it helps to reduce the possibility of conflict between social groups. It is believed that social conflicts often lead to violence and political instability in the country. Thus power sharing is a good way to avoid the political instability and hence to maintain political order in the country. The imposition of will and force of majority community over minorities may sound attractive option but its existence is short-lived as it undermines the unity of the country. The dictatorship and autocracy of the majority community is not just oppressive and unfair to minorities but often brings destruction to them.

2. The second major reason supporting power sharing has deeper motive in the spirit of democracy. Power sharing is effective as democratic rule involves sharing power with the affected people and those who have to live with its effects, so people have a right to be consulted on how they are to be governed. In this way people acquires a stake in the system through participation in forming a legitimate government for their country.

Power sharing is desirable because of the following reasons:-

i) It helps to reduce the possibility of fight or struggle between social groups or communities.

ii) sharing of power is good way to ensure stability of politival order.

iii) Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy.iv)There is ademocratic rule also which involves sharing of power with those affected by its exercise, and those who have to live its effects.

Power sharing is important for maintaining peace and keep democratic country peaceful then we say about democratic country we don't forget the equality so when is not maintained then equality also be not maintained for the sharing of power every person every citizen who is who is greater or smaller in. post are equal before law they can't do any wrong thing before they are equally among the judgement power sharing is very very important for maintaining peace in our country and maintain a democratic country

power sharing is a an important fundamental in federalism. it is very important in a diversed country as there are possibilities of social conflicts between the communities itself, or between two or more communities. hence power sharing gives a fair chance to all the communities to reside peacefully in a nation. as power is shared amongst the governing bodies or we can say that there are sub branches of the central or a primary government. like in india power sharing is amongst the central government and state government and with local government too.
