 why plural noun ending with the letter 's')

 I'm really not sure but I've heard that it's a rule of English.

plural nouns do not end with 's' it is used to refer pepol's belonging for example: Rita's pen etc.

yes they ofcourse end with `s` like- boy- boys .etc

they end with s because ...........?????? actually i also dont know sorry
