Joe was Jack's daughter. Earlier she used to listen to Jack's bedtime stories and fall asleep easily. But now as a two year old Joe never fell asleep. She listened to the stories with attention. She seemed to have hit a reality phase where in she no longer belived in the fiction. She was eager to know whether the incidents and characters in the stories were real or not.
