When and where virginia meet the ghost for the first time

Dear student,

One day Virginia had torn her dress while playing. She did not want anyone to discover that she had messed up with her dress and so she went up the back stairs and while moving past a room she found someone in the room. Initially she thought that it would be their maid but when she looked closely, she realised that it was the Canterville Ghost.
