What would Happen if we had not chosen 82°30 as the Standard Meridian of India

Solution-
If we had not chosen 82° 30 E as standard meridian of India then India would not be having uniform timings all over the nation. When we move from east to west we can see that the sunset in the eastern states like Assam ,Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal occurs 2 hours before the western states of India like Maharashtra, Rajasthan etc. So the eastern states would have been earlier in timings than western states and such complex timings all over the country would have caused several problems for example different timings could cause Railway accidents due to mismatch in departure and arrival timings and many other problems like opening offices in two different timings could have  been a problematic thing. So India chose 82° 30 as it's standard meridian which will enable India to have a uniform timing and even the remotest part of the country no matter east or west north or south will show same time for India.
