what was gandhiji's opinion regarding religion in politics?

Mahatma Gandhi believed that religion can never be separated from politics. It was not in reference to any particular religion but in general Gandhi believed that every religion is characterized by moral values and ethics and that religion brings a sense of morality in the conduct of politics. For Mahatma Gandhi, religion must guide political actions whose ultimate aim was to secure welfare of the people.

Do you know whats the meaning of this line by GANDHI JI "Religion cannot be separated from political, religious matter should not be taken as a regard to politics".

It means that every religion beliefs are that Everyone should be HONEST, ALWAYSSPEAKTRUTH, DON'TBECORRUPT.

IF THESE WOULD BE SEPERATED FROM POLITICS THERE WOULD BE SO MUCH CORRUPTION, NO ONE WILL SPEAK TRUTH.

That's why gandhi ji said these lines.

Ihope u will satisfy with this answer. Pls like thumbs upp
