what is the difference between moss and fern??

Moss(furnaria) is a Bryophyta. Fern is a Pteriophyta.

Moss does not have specialised tissues for the transpotation of water and other substances from one place to another. Fern has specialised tissues for the transportation of water and other substances from one place to another.

Ferns:vascular tissue and also true roots, stems, and leave, have waxy covering(cuticle) to prevent water loss..Ferns have stomata and guard cells to regulate gases exchange.

Mosses: nonvascular and lack all of those characteristics. They have lignin and cellulose in cell walls. long lived spores to prevent against dicissation(drying out).
