What is cladistics?

Solution:

Cladistics is a system of classification or type of modern taxonomy which pays special attention to the evolutionary relationships between the organisms and considers the overall similarities and differences between the organisms be it morphological, anatomical, cytological, embryological, or genetic including the evolutionary characters. It takes into account the fossil evidences while classifying organisms that are ignored in other types of taxonomy.
