SIMILARITY BETWEEN PARALLEL AND RETICULATE VENATION

Reticulate and parallel- are the types of venation, i.e. the arrangement of veins on leaf blade. They are present in dicots and monocots respectively.
These do not share any similarity except for the fact that both these represent pattern of arrangement of veins.

Parallel venation : Veins go from top to the bottom of the leaf. Leaves with this kind of venation are usually long.
Reticulate Venation : Vein branch out from the main vein in the center of the leaf. Leaves with this kind of venation are usually a bit broader compared to the leaves with Parallel Venation
