Here is the solution to question 1-3 :- 

1. The dog was alone. He was afraid and scared of people who were physically stronger than him. He hoped to find a master who had immense physical strength so tha the would offer protection to the dog from others.
2. He chose the wolf as his first master. He left the wolf as he realised that the wolf was afraid of the bear.
3. After the wolf, the dog chose the bear as his master.
