a. In our comparative analysis of states Punjab and Bihar- Punjab has the highest per capita income with Rs. 26000, followed by Kerala and Bihar which is 5700. But this only gives a quantitative aspect and does not give a complete perspective of development.
b. If we compare other criteria that is literacy rate we notice that Punjab has the high literacy rate with 70 % and then Bihar which is 47%.
c. By above analysis we can conclude that Punjab's economic status is better as compared Bihar.
e. However, infant moratlaity rate of both the states is not very appealing as in states like Punjab and Bihar, preference for male child, discouraging girl's education, high cases of female foeticide have been major deterrents in the process of development.
