On applying high pressure 6:6 coordination of NaCl structure changes to 8:8 coordinaton of CsCl structure and on supplying heat coordination of CsCl type changes to that of NaCl type. Will this be considered as a defect? Explain.

Look I think it induces lattice defect. Because when we apply pressure the constituent particles come closer. Which means they have shifted from their original position(lattice point). And when you increase temperature, thermal energy among particles increase so they move apart, again shifting from original position. So it shows thermodynamic defect I guess.
