"No outsider can promote democracy" justify the statement

Dear Student,

a. The best way to establish democracy in a country is by the people themselves .
b. Use of external force by another democratic country is certainly against the principles of democracy which embraces peace, harmony, reconciliation.
c. Use of external force would rather propel violence, cause destruction in the name of promoting democracy as we saw in the case of Iraq.
d.   We may give example of America proclaiming itself to be the harbinger of democracy the so called oldest democracy,  resorted to the power of the bullet in the name of promoting ballot  thereby causing massive destruction to life and property in Iraq
e. A country may exercise its influence, may enter into negotiations, talks with a non democratic country or to an extent may impose sanctions as in case of Myanmar but must not resort to using force, arms to establish democracy.
f. Such a regime if so established will not get popular support and would rather trigger violence , fear and terror in the minds of people.
g. The credibility of such a regime will always be questioned , its sustenance will be questioned.

Regards
