Love for freedom is natural instinct of every living being comment

Dear Student,

All living beings yearn for freedom: to be their own masters and act on their own free will. Human beings fight for their freedom from oppressive rule. Even animals value freedom as is seen in the poem 'A tiger in the zoo'. the poet contrasts the vast expanse of land a tiger would have to walk about and explore in the wild to the limited steps he can take inside the enclosure in a zoo. This shows how his natural instincts too have been curbed and repressed. The tiger's eyes look towards the sky at the stars, wondering if it would ever be able to step out into the open as a free animal. No animal can fully exploit its true potential or enhance its natural instincts in captivity!
