Is atomic radii inversely proportional to both positive and negative charge ?
Dear Student
Atomic radii is inversely proportional to positive charge because as the positive charge increases the attraction between electron and protons in nucleus increases so decrease in atomic size.
Atomic radii is directly proportional to negative charge because the inter electronic repulsion between the coming and existing electrons increases so increases in atomic size.
