In what ways dominion status offered to Indians by Lord Irwin was post dated cheque on the crashing bank?

a.Lord Irwin offered a Dominion status for India in 1929, which basically implied giving a semi autonomous status to India and not full Independence where India would still accept the British sovereignty and the  British monarch as the head of the state.
b. This angered and created discontentment among the radicals members of the Congress like Pt. Nehru, Subash Chandra Bose.
c. It was certainly like a post dated cheque on a crashing bank.
d. The offer was made at a time, when the nationalist movement was at its peak.
e.  There was anger and disillusionment among the people the people over Simon Commission.
f. Further death of Lala Lajpat rai had further fuelled the fire.
g. Vague offer pertaining to Dominion status was certainly not acceptable to the nationalist.
h  Congress thus, at the historic Lahore session 1929 passed the resolution of Purna Swaraj  that is Complete Independence
