in the book it is given that calvin pathway occurs in all plants and it does not matter whether they have c3 or c4 cycle. but my mam told that c3 cycle and calvin cycle is same. then?

Dear student.

C3 cycle or Calvin cycle is a same term which is a pathway of fixation of CO2 in plants. It is known as C3 cycle as the first stable product is a 3-carbon compound i.e, 3-phosphoglyceric acid (3PGA).
