heres how to make a pinhole camera

Take 2 medicine boxes.

the 1st one should bigger

and the 2nd one should easily fit in the 1st box

now make a pin sized hole in the bottom of the 1st box and cut the upper part

in the 2nd box cut both the sides plain so that its clear

now take a tissue and remove its other part 

stick 1 part of the tissue on the 2nd box on only 1 side and tape it

now put the 2nd box inside the 1st box 

your pinhole camera is ready.

(you can use a shoe box also)

.....ouch my hands are paining........

please don't say that this doesn't work

3-cut out one side of the matchbox
4-cover the cut side with a sheet of wax paper or butter paper
5-using a small needle, poke a hole on the side opposite to the wax paper
then, go in a dark room and test it

2) butter/tracing paper
3) some thing to make a hole
method- in the smaller roll cut out a square in the enclosed area and paste butter paper in it. in the larger roll make a small hole in the enclosed area. now slide the smaller roll into the larger one . your pinhole camera is ready for use

Hey there! Now, I will explain step by step the simple procedure to make a simple pinhole camera...

Materials Required :

♦ 2 package cases of LED bulbs (One big & other a bit smaller than the other)
♦ A piece of Oil paper (available in market)
♦ Craft tools (glue, scissors, pencil, etc.)

Procedure :

• Take smaller package case & cut its bottom.

• Cover the area of it which was cut with Oil paper. Make sure it's stretched evenly.

• Now, take the other LED package case & put a hole with a pin on its bottom. There shouldn't be any other holes that allow light to enter.

• Now, insert the smaller LED package case with bottom of oil paper into the other package case. It should not go completely inside into it. A portion of the inserted case should project outwards...

• Seal the two cases as it is now with a cello-tape...

• Now, your pinhole camera is ready...

Making a Pinhole Camera

 

  • Take two rectangular boxes that fit into one another without leaving any gap.
  • Cut open one side of each box.
  • Make a small hole in the larger box at the centre of the closed end opposite the side that has been cut open.
  • Cut a square of side five centimetres in the smaller box in the closed end opposite the side that has been cut open. Cover this square with tracing paper.
  • Finally, slide the smaller box into the larger box, ensuring that the pinhole and the tracing paper are in line with one another, but at the opposite ends.
  • Slide the smaller box to adjust the focus so that you can capture the image of any object you want.

This is the basic structure of the pinhole camera. However, the developed form of a pinhole camera uses photosensitive film instead of translucent paper to capture images. The film can be developed later to obtain photo prints. Nowadays, of course, we use digital cameras that store images in a computer chip. However, the basic principle of capturing the image remains the same.
