1.  Creating a more competitive economic environment and facilitating economic growth by removing various barriers on private sector.

2. Maintaining sufficient foreign exchange reserves and simultaneously keeping the prices stable.

3. Increasing the competitiveness of Indian goods in the international market.

4. Correcting the balance of payments conditions.
