The poet believes that animals are better than human beings. Yes, I agree with the poet's view. Human's have turned greedy. In their greed, they have destroyed mother nature and the other species living on the surface of this earth. Human's are also at loggerheads with each other. They run after materialistic happiness. Animals are not greedy. They obey the laws of nature. So, animals are much better than human beings.
