Compared to highly developed countries, to what extent has India developed its resources

India is a land of natural resources. Resource planning is one of the primary goals of the country since the beginning of the Five Year Plans.There is abundance of mineral reserves and resources but India has not able to capitalise it for economic growth which other developed countries are doing.The natural resource sector has shown a sluggish growth due to lack of utilisation and restrictions on mining of resources. Developing countries are making large investments on the natural resource sector which India requires for bringing economic development.
