are isozygotic and monozygotic terms same ? pls explain

Dear student,

The term monozygotic means twins which are derived from single ovum and hence are identical to each other. In practice we do not use any term as isozygotic but the meaning of the two terms are same.

Yes, monozygotic means derived from 1 ovum, when it splits and get fertilized it's called dizygotic
