  • Coronary heart disease causes damage to the major heart vessels. 
  • High blood pressure results in the blood pressure on the walls of the arteries. 
  • Heart failure results in the loss of proper functioning of the heart. The heart does not pump blood properly.
Causes of heart diseases are Smoking, Fats and cholesterol in blood, High blood pressure, high amount of sugar and blood vessel inflammation.

Heart diseases can be prevented by the following:
1. No smoking and tobacco usage.
2. Exercise for 30 mins daily.
3. Eat healthy diet: Diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
4. Maintain body weight.
5. Enough quality sleep.
6. Regular health check-up.
