"An ideal control technique is one that checks on every stage in the the process of production". Comment.

Dear Student,

An ideal control technique is one that checks on every stage in the process of production. This statement is false as it won't be possible to control each and every activity in the process of production. There are numerous activities that are required to be controlled in the production process. It won't be possible for management to control each and every activity because if efforts will be made to control every thing, then it ultimately results in controlling nothing. In order to avoid this situation, an acceptable limit of deviations should be set and controlling measures should be adopted only for those deviations which goes beyond the acceptable limit. Thus, management should focus on controlling the main or important activities and focus should be made on the significant deviations because of the limited time and resources. It will help in saving time and money of the business.

Hope this answers your query.
