p(3+2)=0⇒p(5)=0⇒52+5a+b=0⇒25+5a+b=0⇒5a+b=-25               --[1]also, p(3-2)=0⇒p(1)=0⇒12+1a+b=0⇒a+b=-1                  --[2]solving [1] and [2]5a+b=-25a+b=-1- -   +        4a=-24    ⇒a=-6 from [2]⇒-6+b=-1 ⇒b=-1+6⇒b=5thus the polynomial becomes x2-6x+5=0
