Recently I got an opportunity to visit a factory where old and used paper is recycled to make fresh handmade paper. There were big machines which were used to make this paper. The old paper was being changed into a pulp and then it was being cleaned and pressed to form beautiful and delicate new paper. It is really an expensive and difficult procedure. But on the other hand, contributes towards saving the trees. Trees are cut for making the paper and it disturbs the ecological balance. Making handmade paper is a good step towards protecting the environment.
