Endocrine glands are the glands which secrete their hormones directly in to the bloodstream, because they do not have ducts or storage. Eg adrenal gland, pituitary gland,etc.

Exocrine glands are the glands which store their hormones in ducts and secretehormones into the bloodstream pertaining to the need. Eg liver,etc

endocrine glands haveno ducts and release their secretions directly into the blood stream whereas exocrine glands have ducts and release their secretions through ducts
