Write difference between Transparent , Translucent and Opaque objects?

The Difference between Translucent , Transparent and Opaque objects are :

Transparent :- The ojects through which we can see clearly are called Transparent objects.

Example - (1) - water , air , glass etc.

Translucent  :- The objects through which we can see but not clearly are called Translucent Ojects.

Example - (2) - an oily patch on a paper , fog , hand (when lighted with torch ) butter paper etc.

Opaque :- The objects through which we cannot see are said to be Opaque Ojects.

Example -(3)- wooden box , mirror , stones etc.

Transparent objects are those through which light can easily pass and we can see objects clearly across it. Translucent objects are those objects through which partial light goes through and we can see partially only while opaque objects are those which don't allow any light to pass through them and we cannot see through them. Transparent objects don't cast a shadow, translucent objects cast a weak shadow while an opaque object castes a dark shadow.

hope my answer is correct!

Definitions :

Transparent :

Objects through which things can be seen very clearly and allow light to pass through it  are called transparent objects . The examples of transparent objects  are glass , water , air etc.Sometimes you may have  in the shops that the eatables like chocolates , fried items like murukku etc. are kept in some transparent boxes so that everybody can see what is there inside the transparent box . A transparent object do not cast a shadow.

Translucent :

Object through which things can be seen  but not clearly are called translucent objects. The examples of translucent objects are butter paper , oil paper etc . A translucent object casts shadow partialy which means a weak shadow .

Opaque :

Objects through which things things cannot be seen and do not allow light to pass through are called opaque objects . The examples of opaque objects are notebook , stones etc. An opaque object casts a dark shadow.

Transparent objects

Translucent objects

Opaque objects

These objects allow light to pass through them.

These objects allow light to pass through them partially.

These objects do not allow light to pass through them.

One can clearly see through transparent objects.

One can see through translucent objects but not very clearly.

One cannot see through opaque objects.

Transparent objects do not cast shadows because they do not block light.

Translucent objects cast faint shadows as they block light partially.

Opaque objects cast dark shadows as they block light completely.

Transparent objects = Those objects which allow all the light to pass through them are called transparent objects.

Translucent objects = Some objects allow only a part of light falling on them to pass through, not all of it, such objects are called translucent objects. For example: a single thin sheet of paper

Opaque objects = If an object completely stops all the light falling on it, it is an opaque object

Transparent objects - Can pass light through them. Ex.water, air, etc.

Translucent objects - They allow light to pass through them partially. Ex.butter paper, etc.

Opaque objects - They don't allow any light to pass through them. Ex.table, chair, etc.

Transparent materials - Materials such as clear water that allow most of the light that fall on them to pass through them are called transparent materials. We can see through these substances clearly. Translucent materials - Materials such as butter paper , tracing paper , molten wax and frosted glass that allow some of the light to pass through them era called translucent materials. We cannot see through these substances clearly. Opaque materials - Materials such as wood , stone , rubber that do not allow any light to pass through them are called opaque materials. Opaque materials absorb the light.

so my dear student you have asked that difference between transparent translucent and Opaque you opposite so I am going to saying the answer for you so please listen listen carefully and play concentration on this answer the answer was vacuum means it's the median through which light cannot pass example would stone at cetera and transparent it is the median through which light can very easily pass hear the light is not observed aur very light littles absorbed example a thin glass clearwater of shadow Death at cetera translucent it is the median through which light can partially pass but things cannot be clearly seen at the light is absorbed to a great extent example ground glass tracing paper et cetera et cetera so I think that it you have understand the answer and you can be happy for this answer

Transparent materials:are those that allow light to pass through them completely, so that the object on the other side can be seen clearly. Clear glass, clean water air and cellophane paper are transperant. We can see through these objects clearly.

Translucent materials:are those that allow some light to pass through them but the object on the other can be seen partially. Frosted glass, butter paper, oily paper and muddy water are translucent. Through we can see the object on the other side, but we cannot see it's details .

Opaque materials:are thosr that do not allow light to pass through them and object on the other side cannot be seen at all. Wood, cement, cardboard, brick and metals, etc. are examples of opaque materials. We cannot see through these objects.
