• The rich and the privileged have this resource in abundance, while the poor have to wander long distances to avail this.
• It is important that we learn to use this resource carefully, so that we can conserve it for our future generations.
• In many parts of the country we face acute water shortages.
• We need to ​sensitise people and promote water conversion techniques in order to deal with the situation.
• Seeing the significance of the situation, government and private bodies have launched Projects for Water Conservation and these campaigns help a lot in initiating and raising the level of awareness of the masses about the importance of water conservation.
• There are many documentaries being released and seminars being conducted on water conservation further there are many training programs that literature us regarding water conservation and rain water harvesting. 
• We need to realise and take up the responsibility to save water. we need to motivate ourselves and others and work to safe water and spread the message of water conservation across to the society.
