Suggestions on Political reforms;

a. One may take a recourse to legal and constitutional changes, however it is to be noted that laws must be  effectively implemented. For instance,  Right to recall- A law must be passed empowering people to recall political representatives who fail to perform or deliver.

b.  Political parties must also strive for reforms and change. The financial accounts of the parties must be audited, this will decrease the role of private big business house donors. State funding of political parties must be done to meet their election expenditure.The accounts  must be made available to public.Parties must come under the ambit of Right to information to increase transparency in the system.. Common people must be encouraged to give donations to parties and such citizens must be exempted from income tax.

c.  Parties must encourage inner party democracy, have regular elections.. They must encourage participation of women,

d. Other important suggestion for reforms could be pertaining to Quick disposal of cases related to corruption related scams involving politicians. Setting up of fast track courts  for corruption related cases.

e. Quest for good governance also demands active participation of the civil society. Thus. People can pass resolutions, put pressure on parties through petitions,protests demanding parties to be more transparent in their functioning. People can make use of media to question parties and their leaders on various policy matters,

f. Ordinary citizens can join political parties to bring about change.People can make use of media to express their dissent, to ventilate their concerns,
