Patrick was a lazy boy. He did not like to do his homework. One day, he found an elf and asked him to grant his wish. The wish was to complete his homework. But, the elf, being cleve,r made Patrick do the homework himself. He made an excuse of not knowing the subjects and thus, Patrick had to work day and night to complete his work.
As a result of his own efforts, Patrick was able to complete his work and was appreciated in the class. Patrick helped himself rather than seeking help from the elf. The elf made him realise his self worth too.
