Like all countries in the world, India also has an environmental imbalance. There are double pressure o environment in India, one by population demand which is so huge that great natural reserves and rich and diverse flora and fauna fall short to meet the demands. Second, is pollution which further depletes the natural resources and creates environment destruction aggravates the problem. India is a developing country which requires industries and manufacturing plants to set up for economic growth and strength. This need is also costing us, as a significant amount of air and water pollution is caused by factories. Besides this, illiteracy also adds to the problem as wrong ways of garbage disposal and lack of civic sense also spoils the environment.
