Here are a few points which you might want to add:

- Child labour is a business term which means to employ children at work below the age that has been demarcated by the government.

- "The child is the father of man." This famous line quoted by William Wordsworth refers to the importance of the child for the development of society as well as for the all-round development of the human race. We should never ignore the fact that child is the purest form of God. His innocence brings us closer to the almighty.

- Child labourers are exploited, exposed to hazardous work conditions and paid a pittance for their long hours of work. They belong to the unorganized labour force.

- Our government has laid down various guidelines to eradicate and finish the custom of child labour from the grass root level.

a. No child below the age of 14 years shall be employed to work in any hazardous employment

b. Childhood and youth are to be protected against exploitation and against moral and material abandonment.

c. The State shall endeavour to provide within a period of 10 year from the commencement of the Constitution free and compulsory education for all children until they have completed the age of 14 years.

- Due to poverty poor parents put their children to work in order to supplement the family's economic status. This compulsion forces the parents to forget that every child has his right to enjoy his childhood.

- There are more than 250million child labourers in our country.

Children are bought and sold, like you would buy a bar of chocolate, smuggled across borders like your children would sneak a cookie from the jar, forced to wake from there mud hut or shop doorway in the early hours while your children are tucked up soundly in their beds.
Forced to stand for endless hours working, labouring, stitch after stitch. Forced to fight on the front line or made to work form dawn to dusk in the tobacco fields, for these there are no comparisons, but these could be your children… no doubt you will thank god they are not.
So many of our worlds population don’t have a choice no matter how much they thank and pray their family need money. They need food and water and shelter… all the things we put past us and don’t think twice about. They have no choice but to send there children to work, or even more so, this choice is taken from them in the middle of the night.
` Imagine waking up one morning going to wake your children up for another day at school, but they’ve gone disappeared, left no trace left, your puzzled and confused not knowing where they are or could have gone, could they have got out? No because you have a big front door with a strong, secure, unbreakable lock, cut of from the dangers of the outside world, but most of these parents know exactly what has happened, they’ve had this burden on there shoulders form the day their child was born, all they can thank god for is that they’ve made it through the night… but no doubt you thank god that every mourning you wake up you will here them call ‘good morning daddy’
Would you ever send your children to work with out pay, for days on end, minimal breaks or meals, forced to fight, to kill other humans and other innocent children, brain washed to kill, given guns the size of them and put on the front line. We think, we want to believe we think we know for sure no parent would ever choose to make the child a Child Soilder
