write 3 difference between inclusive and exclusive series.
when the data's are classified in such a way that the upper limit of the class interval is the lower limit of the succeeding class interval.it is called exclusive method of classifying data.
inclusive method is one in which the data are classified in such a way that both upper and lower limit of class interval are included in the same class
i just know only one difference..and i think this is the important one....no more difference is required....
- EXCLUSIVE - UNDER THIS METHOD CLASS INTERVALS ARE SO FIXED THAT UPPER LIMITS OF CLASS IS THE LOWER LIMIT OF THE NEXT CLASS
- INCLUSIVE - THE UPPER LIMIT OF ONE CLASS IS INCLUDED IN THE CLASS ITSELF THE UPPERLIMIT OF ONE CLASS IS ALL WAYS LESS THAN THE LOWER LIMIT OF THE NEXT CLASS
2. In case of exclusive series, value of the upper limit of a class is included in the lower limit of the next class interval. In inclusive series value of the upper limit of a class is included in that very class interval.
3. Exclusive series is useful whether the variables complete number or in decimals, but inclusive series is useful only when value is in complete number.
