Why we need to take balanced diet during adolescence.


Adolescence is a stage in life which is characterised by rapid growth and changes. This stage requires highly nutritious diet for good development and functioning of the body. Balanced meal would provide proteins which are central for build up of new muscles and tissues. Vitamins and minerals would keep us healthy and help in appropriate functioning of all enzymes and hormones.
