why was the fawn quivering?

Dear student,

I hope you find the answer to your question:

The fawn was quivering or shaking probably out of fear. The foe had lost its mother when Penny had killed the doe to take its liver and save himself from the poison of the snake that had bitten him. Having lost its mother, it felt lonely and helpless and the quivering was a sign of its fear.
