why isn't India anti-currepted country

Dear Student,

a.  Corruption is certainly a challenge in our country and that it hampers the progress and growth of a country.
b. Corruption encourages red tapism, favouritism and nepotism at the cost of common people.
c. It is the corruption which serves as the main deterrent in realising our values and ideals which are enshrined in the constitution.

d. It creates wide disparities among the people and deprive them of the development benefits.

e.  Though we understand that no system is perfect,  but efforts can be made to eradicate corruption, to bring about more transparency in the system and procedures.
f. This way one can strive for good governance.
g. Further many legal mechanisms have come about  like Lok pal bill  to check and counter corruption
h. Most importantly it is important to generate greater awareness and the people must take the responsibility of not bribing anybody and must become more alert
i. If we have to change the system we must collectively strive to change .
