why is power sharing desirable?

Power sharing is desirable because of the following reasons:-
i) It helps to reduce the possibility of struggle and conflict between social groups or communities.
ii) It ensures stability in political order.
iii) It is the very spirit of democracy.
iv. It provides freedom and justice to all communities and give opportunity to participate in the decision making process.
v. It restricts the scope of dominance by one group over the other as equal share of power is generated.
