why is electricity useful for us ? why do we need electricity?

Electricity can be converted into other forms of energy easily. For example, we can use electricity to drive motors, fans etc which converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. We can use electricity for lighting. The lights convert electrical energy into light energy. The electrical heater converts the electricity into thermal energy.

Can you even imagine life without electricity? All the communication media require electricity for their operation. So, it became a basic need for humankind.
