Why India is secular country

Dear Student,

A mainstream or secular state is a thought relating to commonness, whereby a state is or implies to be authoritatively unbiased in issue of religion, supporting neither religion nor irreligion.

With the Forty-second Amendment of the Constitution of India sanctioned in 1976, the Preamble to the Constitution attested that India is a common country. Be that as it may, the Supreme Court of India in S. R. The Constitution doesn't remember, it doesn't allow, blending religion and State power. Secularism implies division of religion from political, financial, social and social parts of life, religion being treated as a simply close to home matter. It underscored separation of the state from religion and full opportunity to all religions and resistance, all things considered.

Regards.
