heterogametic means having 2 types of gametes ok
human males have 2 types of gametes,one is X nd the other is Y
where as in females both the gametes are of same kind i e X & X
if X oa male pairs with X of females,a female child is born and if
Y pairs with X a male child is born ok
because of the presence of 2 types of gametes,human males are
known as heterogametic ok
