Why does hydrogen more electronegative than boron ?

Dear student,

As hydrogen is in the extreme left of the periodic table having an 1s1electronic configuration.  But the chemistry resembles more like that of a Carbon-Atom (Hydrogen can donate and accept an electron), much unlike the behavior of Lithium.
As hydrogen is a unique element having the smallest size among all and because of this the nucleus easily attracts electron in hydrogen as compare to the bigger size of boron where electrons shield the nucleus and attraction of the nucleus to electrons decreases.
Therefore, hydrogen is more electronegative than boron
