Why do flowers need carbondioxide (very easy question)! where do they get the carbondioxide from and how do they give us oxygen.

Dear student,

The plants perform the process of photosynthesis to make their own food. Plants take in CO2 or carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through the tiny pores present on the surface of their leaves (which are called stomata), during the process of photosynthesis.
The COand water acts as the raw materials for photosynthesis and the products formed in this process are oxygen and carbohydrates.
The following equation explains it as follows :

flowers don't need CO2. Leaves need CO2 for making food in the process of photosynthesis. They get COfrom the atmosphere. In the process of photosynthesis, leaves take air rich with CO2 and Oxygen and give out oxygen. The CO2 is used for making food.

in the process of photosynthesis plants use the energy in sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water to sugar and oxygen
