why did not sam weiner go with his old businness at galesburg illinois ?

According to the referred incident of the story "the third level, Sam was the psychiatrist.
When he was informed about the third level in front of all, he termed it to be a general case of hallucination.
But the irony came when he explored that hypothetical place and praised it a lot.
It seems that Sam was also experiencing the same mental stress as that of the author.
However, he was living to the fullest there. So he did not want to experience the chaos again. He declared his old business  in Galesburg Illinois to be very chaotic
