who was alexander the great and how did he died

Alexander the great served as the king of Macedonia from 326 to 323 B.C. During his time of leadership he united Greece, re-established the Corinthian League and conquered the Persian Empire.
Proposed causes of Alexander's death included alcoholic liver disease, fever, and strychnine poisoning, but little data support those versions. According to the University of Maryland School of Medicine report of 1998, Alexander probably died of typhoid fever (which, along with malaria, was common in ancient Babylon).

The following points may help you:
  • Alexander, the great was the king of the kingdom Macedon in the Ancient Greece
  • There are many probable causes for Alexander's death.
  1. Some historians believe that he died of typhoid fever, some believed he died of liver infection, however it is not substantiated by any documents.
  2. Historians have also claimed that he died of malaria or was poisoned by his illegitimate half brother Ptolemy I Sorter.

Hope it clarifies your doubt.

Hope it helps!
