Who can claim the resources between exclusive economic zone and international resources because its written that international resources start 200 miles away from eez

Dear Student,

a. As we know that exclusive economic zone of any state extends up to 200 nautical miles starting/measured from its coastal baseline.
b. Beyond 200 nautical miles lies international resources, to which no country can put its claim
c.  Thus, resources beyond the exclusive economic zones are regulated by international institution
d. Such resources beyond Exclusive economic  zone,  are to be used  by any country or individual only with the approval of international institution.
e. Also to note that w
henever there is an overlap of 200 nautical miles between two different states than it is up to those states to decide their maritime boundary within which they can carry their explorations.
f. For example, Economic zone of State A extends up to 200 nautical but this overlaps or invariably becomes part of economic zone of State B , which has also measured 200 nautical miles from its coastal baseline.
g. Now in such a scenario both the States A and B, will mutually decide their maritime boundaries.
