which is not possible in transformer?  (why? explain)

a)eddy current        c)AC
b)DC                         d)induced current

Dear student,
The transformer is based on the principle of mutual induction hence current is induced in the circuit due to varying AC current and in there will be lost also in terms of eddy current.
Hence, option b is correct because there is no role of DC in the transformer. also, we cannot use DC current because Dc current is constant current and hence there will be no mutual induction takes place and the transformer won't work hence DC is not possible in the transformer.
Regards.
