as we all know there are plastids only present in plant cells
And there are three types of plastids they are chloroplast,
chromoplast and luecoplast the chloroplast is a green plastid which
contains a green pigment called chlorophyll this pigment helps the
cell to prepare its own food by the process of photosythesis and
that is why chloroplast is the cell organelle which is called the
kitchen of the cell
